Time is passing quickly and keeping up on this blog hasn't been happening. Since this blog is meant to be a history for us - we've got some catching up to do!!
June 12th Missionaries
July 24th Missionaries
Sister Snow, Sister Gibson and Sister Beesley - the Snow's arrived in time to learn "the ropes" of processing new missionaries before the Gibsons return home.
Sister Chevalier traveled by herself and arrived in Berlin on August
The Ruetz Family after feeding the missionaries dinner on a HOT Sunday in August.
This is an amazing family and we love them a lot, for many reasons. President Ruetz is our Stake President, he is from Switzerland, speaks many languages and is an accomplished musician. Sister Ruetz, a Berlin native, speaks some English, teaches 2nd grade and takes good care of the missionaries. Lea their oldest daughter is 17 yrs old, plays the piano, arranges and composes music and plays the organ in Sacrament Meeting. Fleur is 13 yrs old and a very accomplished violinist, she is currently attending a special music school in Switzerland. Lea and Fleur are in our Sunday School class and we love them. They are solid in the gospel and so kind to us. The boys are, Finn, 11 yrs old and Gion (we pronoun it John) who will be 3 in March - he reminds us of Luke and Max. They have all the missionaries over for dinner once a month - which is quite an undertaking since we currently number 9 missionaries in the Lankwitz Ward
Sister Turner and Sister Lartey cooling off in the pool before lunch.
Our last Sunday with the Gibsons. We miss them, they were so good to us and we become fast friends.
Sightseeing in Potsdam, this Saturday with the Snows.
