In July we spent a Saturday exploring the beautiful Spreewald in a punt (boat). This area is a designated biosphere reserve made up of 200 small water channels within about 187 sq. miles. There are about 50,000 people who live here and they are descendants of the first settlers. They have preserved their traditional language, customs and clothing.
They depend on tourism for their income.
Making the final arrangements with the Kosaks, Boehms, Gibsons and Beesleys.
The scenery was beautiful.
The company was great. It couldn't have been a more enjoyable day.
President and Sister Kosak, Elder and Sister Gibson and Elder and Sister Boehm.
